What is GET RIGHT? When we use the term GET RIGHT, we are referring to getting one's soul right with the Lord. It means that you are gong to accept the free gift that God has given to us. You are going to begin life anew, fresh, and untainted. You will become a new person, but at the same time you will still be the same. You will be new because your past wrongs will be removed, and you will get to start over. You will be the same because you will still struggle with the same problems you have always struggled with. Now though, you will have help. Most people don't realize, that although they may see themselves as inadequate, or undeserving, everyone is worth something. In some ways there isn't a lot of difference between a terrible sinner, and a church going Christian. They struggle with the same problems. (1 John 1:5-2:6) The Christian is just more successful simply because he is a Christian, and anyone can become one. Christians aren't better than anyone else, they're just better off. God would rather you be a struggling Christian than a fabulous sinner. You just have to believe, and commit to continuing to better yourself. Why should I GET RIGHT? |
